  • Reverberation Chamber Testing

    National Technical Systems

A reverberation chamber, sometimes known as a mode tuned/mode stirred chamber, is a shielded enclosure or resonant cavity for RF testing. This chamber is statistically isotropic, random polarity, having RF uniformity within specified limits. Typically a reverberation chamber has a paddle (or tuner) which stirs the field, randomizing the boundary conditions.

  • RF Architectural Shielding Products

    LBA Group, Inc

EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) is often used interchangeably with RFI (Radio Frequency Interference). However, EMI can be any frequency of electromagnetic noise, whereas RFI is a relatively narrow range of electromagnetic noise on the EM spectrum. EMI Shielding can be used to mitigate electric and magnetic radiation across various spaces. Radio Frequency (RF) Shielding can be used to mitigate RFI with specifically designed enclosures that can block RFI. As well, RF Shielding can include application of RF Shielding paints, fabrics, and other materials.

  • Rackmount Test Enclosure, ≥100 DB Isolation, 300 MHz - 18 GHz

    dbSAFE RME - DVTest Inc.

RF enclosures are now a necessity for testing wireless devices. The rackmount dbSAFE RME offers unmatched isolation in its class; up to 100 dB* from 300 MHz to 18 GHz. The dbSAFE RME has been engineered from the ground up to provide superior RF isolation and performance while being cost-effective. This premium isolation shielded box can be designed and manufactured to almost any size and dimensions.

  • Anechoic Chamber Filters

    Adaura Technologies

RF leakage through Ethernet and USB cables can destroy even the best RF enclosures and chambers. The need for filtering in the ever congested RF environment requires special filters that can pass USB 2.0 and 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet signals and filter out unwanted higher frequencies such as cellular and WiFi. The Adaura Technologies USB/Gigabit Filters provide one GigE and one USB 2.0 pass-through connections while filtering out other RF up to 8GHz. It has a small form factor to allow easy installation. It is a most cost effective solution for a clean chamber set up. In a typical chamber, WiFi signals are reduced to <-100dBm with this filter installed.

  • High Frequency Electromagnetic Software

    Sonnet Suites - Sonnet Software

The Sonnet® Suites™ develop precise RF models (S-, Y-, Z-parameters or extracted SPICE model) for planar circuits and antennas. The software requires a physical description of your circuit (arbitrary layout and material properties for metal and dielectrics), and employs a rigorous Method-of-Moments EM analysis based on Maxwell's equations that includes all parasitic, cross-coupling, enclosure and package resonance effects.

  • Programmable RF Attenuators

    Adaura Technologies

The AD-USB R3 is AdauraTech’s latest design in the AD-USB series of programmable RF attenuators. Combining all the best features of the previous models, the R3 is the new series flag ship. With a completely custom machine aluminum enclosure, the R3 boasts 95dB of attenuation. The addition of Ethernet allows EASY implementation into the most modern of test setups by allowing network control via HTTP web interface or direct Telnet while the USB port powers the device and allows for serial communication.

  • Receiver Semi-Kit

    75-NS-3 - National RF, Inc

National RF’s 75-NS-3 receiver is a complete super-hetrodyne mini high frequency receiver, designed specifically for the short-wave listener, electronics enthusiast or radio amateur, who wants to use their hands and build a radio. The receiver is offered as a semi-kit in which the electronic assembly is loaded and functionally tested at the National RF facility. The customer must then go to the grocery store (yes…the grocery store!), procure a can of lunch meat, eat it or give it to the dog, and then proceed to drill and paint the can, in order for it to become the receiver’s enclosure! As the name of the preferred potted meat can has a registered trademark by Hormel Foods, Inc., it won’t be mentioned on this web-site. However, the name of the product is synonymous with unwanted email!!! In addition, there are other food products that might be found that are packaged in the same metallic enclosure. Detailed drilling instructions and final assembly instructions are provided as part of the kit. All other parts required for completion of the receiver are provided as well. Recognizing that the finished assembly looked somewhat like the fabled Collins receiver of the ‘60s, the 75S-3, (particularly when the can is painted a light gray) National RF engineers dubbed it (with tongue firmly planted in cheek, of course) the 75-NS-3! Although we have had fun packaging this receiver in a lunch meat can, it is nothing to turn your nose at! Its performance and portability will surprise you, and it is an ideal radio to bring with you on any trip!
